Dead Asleep

The walls in our bedroom and
on the entire second floor are
a rich deep gray.

It’s a very soothing color,
but I must admit it makes 

the master feel a bit like
the interior of a mausoleum.

Granted, I’ve never felt so rested.
It just makes me hesitate to say
I was dead asleep.
