Poems & Spoken Word

The dog days of summer are the period from July 3rd to August 11th. Whereas those days are known to be searing hot, I thought this year seemed a little mild. But that may be because I spent so much time inside in the air conditioning. Can you really blame me?

The collection of poems here include commentary on gardening, cutting grass, golf, and even a little wishful thinking concerning a visit with an Inuit tribe (in a dream, of course). There are about 30 poems in this chapbook, and there are some pretty good ones that I’m not posting here. You’ll just have to take my word on that.

Below are a few of the poems included in the work:

  • Pure Poetry
  • Heartstrings
  • Cinderella Story
  • Kiss My Patch
  • Tour de France
  • Igloo Dreams
  • Fresh Matoes
  • Hawk & Loon
  • Escargot
  • Honey Bee Tornado
  • The Sting
  • Early Work
  • My Canine Friends
